About Kiamaras;
What is a Kiamara?
A Kiamara is a wolf-like creature. They have long, fluffy manes on the top of their heads, running down between their shoulders. They all have spots on their bodies- a trait in which will never be bred out of their DNA. They also have feathers- every Kiamara is given feathers when they reach the age of 2 years old. Their diet consists of fruit as well as meat- they prey on similar creatures that wolves would. Kiamara can be very shy before they get to know you. Can you win a Kiamara's heart?

Biography;
The subject in question is Mango Pandora Berry, though never refer to her by her middle name. Born quite a number of years ago, she's the essence of beauty despite her age. She's simply stunning, and draws heads wherever she goes. You either love her for her beauty or hate her for it. She's a darker colored Kiamara with luscious hair, and small, white glowing horns. Strange, isn't it? Her spots are a lovely gradient, and some say she resembles an ornate tigress with her stripes. She has perfect vision, and spot on style. Her pretty in pink toenails are not to be missed, and you have to be silly to not love her hair. Said hair has a few streaks to match her spot colors, and only a few flecks of age are to be seen throughout the hair and on her muzzle. A voice full of warm, gentle loving and a small quality of singing to go along with it.
She possesses the ability to see the beauty in every single thing. Everything. Nothing is ugly to her, and everything has a purpose. Should you ever need advice, she's the one you go to. She can get anyone out of a bad mood, and though sometimes too cautious she's still probably the nicest, most likable kia you'll meet. That's not to say she doesn't possess a stern side, because we all do. Her's is just a lot harder to get to than normal people's. She's literally the grandmother and friend everyone wishes they could have.

❝When Desmond and I met, we swore it was love. I did especially because he was everything I ever dreamt of in a guy. He was protective of me in all the right ways, always a confident but never cocky gentleman around me. Though, he was rather silly at times too. He's the kind of guy to run up and down the toy section and press all the demo buttons on every toy to create one obnoxious singing and blinking light mess. He held open doors for me and and took me to see fireworks, to ride amusement parks at night and to go to beaches at sunset. Always well groomed and invariably assured me to ignore the jealous girls who wanted him for themselves. He was simply the marine who stole my heart.
He's since retired and we've since divorced. I have to say it was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. Take your children away from their father? But after some time we just fell out of step; we just weren't happy anymore, and we loved each other enough to let one another go so we could be truly happy and not stressed all the time. It took a while for the kids to understand, but it happened when they were nearly teens so it was easier then it could have been. He had them for major holidays, I had them mainly and it ended up working out just fine. We keep in touch every now and then, send each other friendly cards on special occasions and such. I'll admit though, it's been so much easier since the girls moved out. He's still great and all, but that doesn't mean I want to see him all the time if I don't have to. Besides, I'm ready for the next step in my life now.❞
❝Well, like I said my kids aren't kids anymore, and I only see my grandchildren every now and then. I won't be shy to admit it when the girls aren't around, but I actually got pretty lonely after they left. I mean, even when we left Des I still had the sound of the their little feet around the house. I guess I really missed the sound of little feet too, because the same week they moved out I bought a pair of ferrets named Akira and Azzi. Sweetest little things you could imagine, but as much as I really love animals I guess I can't take care of them very well? I ended up loosing them in my house about five days after I bought them and Kaia had to come find them for me. Once she did she just took them with her, heaven only knows what happened to them after that.
I still needed something to do with my life, and apparently the animal shelter wasn't an option. So I went online and looked about, and saw the local rec center was looking for teachers in manual 35mm photography. I decided I might as well try out, I did in fact have some basic knowledge of them from when I was a teen and they were all the rage. To my surprise I ended up being the only one to try out, and I was hired the next day. Believe it or not, but I've really fallen back in love with photography. There's just something about being in a darkroom that's so relaxing, and it's pretty interesting teaching others how to develop their own pictures. I'm pretty content with my job; I get paid enough and there's plenty of nice kias that I meet. From young teens to the actual elderly, everyone takes great pride in it. And best of all, it's only part time in the mornings too, so I can still go places after which is ever so important for my social life. ❞
❝I'd say I'd be showing my age, but I did this even when I was a teenager; I go to the local garden center (literally, it's so beautiful. Spring time? You can't even fathom it!) and eat at the little cafe with a friend. Or if I'm not in the mood for company, I just go there by myself to ponder. Order some drink so girly if a guy evenlooks at it he'll loose man points. But you'd be amazed how relaxing sitting among various plants and water fountains is... or not. Once a bird landed in my hair.Well whatever, it still makes me happy (mostly) and I don't care how cliche I sound.
When I'm not eating out with friends, I usually go shopping with them. Does the store have scarves? Are they pretty? Then I'm probably already there waiting for you. So it goes without saying that scarves are my accessory of choice, and I generally can't be seen without wearing a cardigan and some jeans plus boots as my outfit of choice. I may be a grandmother, but I have zero intentions of dressing like one. Yet. Check back in a few years, dearie.
Other than that, I find jewelry nice. I usually wear a necklace that either Skylla or Carol gave me, not like you can see them under my scarves though. That's why Rosaline gave me a bracelet actually, taught that girl well I did! Hats are a no no, I refuse to wear them because they cover up my beautiful hair. It takes a serious effort to keep it looking this good after all these years, and I take great pride in its silky smoothness *flips hair dramatically*❞
❝I wake up at 6:15 am, and put the tea kettle on for my daily chai. I wait for that thing to start singing and go get myself ready for the day; pick out my clothes, shower, get started on perfecting my hair. I watch a bit of the news and drive to the rec center, then I work in the dark room from 7:30 to 11:45. After that I have the whole day to myself. Sometimes I go thrift shopping, other days I just go home and read, others I go to the park. On Wednesdays I meet with my book club, every third Thursday I meet with the photogragals, a photo-group created by one of my teenage students that I find absolutely adorable. Believe it or not but I'm their honorary member.
Do I see myself doing this for the rest of my days? I really do doubt that. As much as I love all I've worked for so far, I know better than some that life doesn't always stay the way you plan. I mean, that's life though. Who knows what I'll be doing in a couple of years? Not me, not you, no one. Hopefully there's a fine retirement in my future. Though, my life right now is pretty much a paid retirement isn't it? Well, I guess you'll find out when I do. Maybe there could even be another significant other? Or a child or two? Lord knows I can still make another child, maybe its a sign? Gah, we'll get there when we get there alright.❞
