About Kiamaras;
What is a Kiamara?
A Kiamara is a wolf-like creature. They have long, fluffy manes on the top of their heads, running down between their shoulders. They all have spots on their bodies- a trait in which will never be bred out of their DNA. They also have feathers- every Kiamara is given feathers when they reach the age of 2 years old. Their diet consists of fruit as well as meat- they prey on similar creatures that wolves would. Kiamara can be very shy before they get to know you. Can you win a Kiamara's heart?

Biography;
True to her Aussie looks, McKenzie loves to be outdoors. Literally any chance she gets she'll be out on the trails or just roughing through the woods. Going to lakes and rivers are always her favorite because she can go for a swim to cool herself off if it's hot outside. Even if it's not hot outside though she still loves them. I mean have you ever seen a waterfall covered in ice? Breathtaking for sure and Kenzie isn't going to disagree.
These days, her and Bennett go off on Urban Exploration adventures in crazy places.

Story;
"You want to know about my family? I'll gladly tell you." The Aussie Kiamara leads you to the shade of a tree. It's cool but not to warm and there's a nice little breeze the gently blows your hair. "Come on, sit down and relax a little and grab a cupcake if you please." She pushes a plate of the tiny brightly frosted cakes towards you. "I made them myself," She says with a warm smile. "Just decorated this morning. Pan of course ate a chocolate one or two and he'll surly come back for more so you better eat one now if you want it. "
"Now my story isn't the most ellaborate and I probably will spare you some details, but hopefully you like it. I has a really nice ending, I promise." She looks up at the sky and watches a bird circle a tree before landing on one of it's many branches. A thoughtful look is on her face and finally with another smile she says "Lets begin, shall we?"
"I came from a loving family of my mother, father, and little brother. Call me a horrible daughter and sister but kills me to say I can't remember any of their names. I have a reason though, I was young and ill; I'm lucky I can even remember their faces and coats to be honest. All I remember other then that is I loved my family, especially my brother to death, literally. "
"Some sickness similar to a plague I assume made its way through the area where I lived, claiming all but a few lucky children such as myself. I was one of the ones who almost didn't make it though, I was one of the first to get sick and had the hardest time recovering and several times my family thought I was dead when they woke in the morning. They weren't as sick as I so no one really worried about them, I was the top priority. One morning I woke up feeling much better after countless weeks of coughing and vomiting and, erm, other things, so I rushed to my parents to tell them about the amazing news. Only now it was my turn to worry for their health. I found they had passed in their sleep." The Kiamara looked away with a little choke sob coming from her. Suddenly she looked back at you with tears in her eyes and a small, rueful smile on her face. "I didn't even know they were sick," she said with a sigh. "They hid it from me so I could focus on getting myself healthy I suppose."
She cleared her throat and continued. "After I finally let what happened sink in, I ran to where my brother was, thinking of all the ways I could tell him what had happened and how I could support him and keep him healthy. I paused because I really had to think about how to tell him so he wouldn't be so heartbroken, but really there's no way to tell a little kid that, he was only a few months old after all and his parents and I were all he ever knew."
"After finally deciding on something, I continued to where he was..." She looks at you and you realize she's physically shaking. You know what has to come next. "...only to find him cold in his bed, not an ounce of warm to be found." She shut her eyes and shakes her head, muttering words not meant for your ears, only her beloved brother.
Finally she looks up at you. "I'm sorry, you don't need to see this. It's just hard y'know? I mean losing everything you loved all at once while you pranced about being suddenly healthy... I'll never understand that by the way, and I suppose I never will. Though I'm okay with that now." She looks a little better now and continues with her story.
"It was a long while before outsiders as we called them found us, and we actually rebuilt the town-ish area where we lived and we were functioning pretty normally to be honest. Some kids knew how to hunt, others how to grow, I knew how to bake. It was nice because we were all going through the same stuff and we all lost our families, no adults survived. But then one day the leader Kiamaras came and took us away saying it was unsafe to live there, the terrible sickness could kill us too if we stayed, unknowing how long we were actually there and what really happened. We didn't tell him either, it was just between us. One of the last things we all shared together before they split us up."
"I was a newly turned teenager, we all were actually except for a few and I won't lie it nearly killed me leaving my home. I grew up there, my family died there... yeah. I tried to take something of each of them, but only managed to grab a locket from my mother that I hold dearly now. I would never dare wear it though, its hers after all.
"They took us to a building where they said they would find us new homes, but we didn't want any. I wanted my family. Not someone else. I was classified as "depressed" and moped about, whining for my family. I woke with the images of my brother in my head and a bed soaked in tears and sweat. All of us were like this at first but most just moved on, happy to have an adult tell them somethign to do again. I didn't want to move on though, I just couldn't let go." She said with another sigh.
She perkes up a little. "This is where it gets good, I promise."
"One day somekia talked to me, he was rather kind if I do say so myself. He never told me his name, but he told me I need to seize my life, we only live once after all. I was a miracle child, I shouldn't have survived the illness but I did. I didn't tell him any of this but somehow he just knew.
"After a few more talks with him, I realized he was right. This new family I get sent to, maybe they'll be different. Maybe I can learn from them. I suppose I need to be loved again, though I know my family's still with me everywhere I go so its not like I'm replacing them or anythign like I feared before.
"When the day finally came, I was ready. Nervous, but ready. A young adult now, not the shivering little kid I was on that faithful morning and not the whining teen I was either. The leader Kia took me to where they were staying and shyly I looked at them.
"A smiling human and a bouncing... little Kiamara.. boy... my god he reminded me of my little brother it hurt so badly. Was this my new adopted brother? Really? I almost cried at the thought of having another brother again. Okay, I really did cry, haha. He came up to me, 'Hi's there! I'ms Pandah! You'res my a'new's sister! Squeeeeee!!!' He bounced about and tackled me and I instantly felt at home and loved and everything I was lacking. The human put her arms around me and we all snuggled. This is my family now and though that little boy is a teen now, he'll always be my little brother too.
